Richard Sine works from his home office in Fort Mill, SC. A former New York Times stamp columnist, he is the author of Stamp Collecting for Dummies, developer and webmaster of the non-commercial philatelic reference site www.askphil.org, and has been editor of The American Philatelist (monthly journal of the American Philatelic Society) and editorial director at Scott Publishing Co. He has edited more than three dozen books and currently is an active contract technical writer. "U.S. stamps show the world our history and culture.
